Eligibility
Skatter Tech Deals (“Deals”) are only available to individuals who are legal residents of the United States of America and are at least 18 years of age. Skatter Tech employees, contributors, and anyone associated with the Deals are not eligible. Deals are subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
Agreement to the Official Rules
Participation in Deals implies full, unconditional consent and acceptance to the Contest Policy. By pressing the “Enter Contest” button, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. Wining Deals requires fulfillment of all requirements set forth here.
Rules of Entry
A participant must follow and complete the procedures listed on a specific Deals page to enter the respective deal. Individuals are allowed a single entry, any duplicate submissions by an individual or group will be considered void and removed. The use of automated software to submit entries is prohibited.
Deals Duration
The start and end time for each deal is listed on a respective Deals page.
The Winner(s)
The winner or winners of a contest are selected by automated random computer drawings. If the draw results with an ineligible entry, another random drawing occurs excluding the respective entry until an eligible entry is found. The chances of winning do not necessarily depend on the number of eligible entries received. We may choose to offer additional prizes if a certain number of entries are received. Selected winning entries will be contacted via email and asked for their full name, age, and mailing address. If a potential winner does not respond within the time frame stated in the email, another random drawing for a replacement from the same set of entries will take place excluding the unresponsive entry. It is your responsibility to receive and respond to our message.
Requirements of Potential Winner(s)
Except where prohibited, the potential winner or winners will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within seven days of being notified. If a potential winner fails to sign and return the document by the required deadline, a replacement entry may be selected.
Prize(s)
The price of the prize and the approximate retail value will generally be noted on a specific Deals page. No cash or substitution for the prize may be made, except by Skatter Tech, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by Skatter Tech in its sole discretion. The winner is responsible for any taxes and fees associated with the use of a prize.
General Conditions
In the event that the administration, operation, or security of specific Deals is compromised in any manner for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud or technical issues, Skatter Tech may, in its sole discretion choose to:
- Suspend a deal until issues any pending issues are resolved.
- Award the prize at random from a pool of entries received up to the time of impairment.
Skatter Tech reserves the rights to, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entry or entries it considers to be tampering with or in violation of the Contest Policy. Any attempt by a person or group to undermine the lawful operation of a Deal may be considered a violation of criminal and/or civil law. Skatter Tech reserves the rights to seek damages in any such case to the extent permitted by law.
Skatter Tech’s failure to abide by any term of the Contest Policy does not constitute a waiver of that policy. In case of a dispute over the owner of an entry, Skatter Tech will select, at its sole discretion, an alternate entry should a resolution not be reached.
Release and Limitations of Liability
By entering Deals, a participant agrees to release and hold harmless Skatter Tech from and against:
- Unauthorized intervention in Deals
- Technical issues including, but not limited to computer networks.
- Damaged, destroyed, late, lost, incorrectly addressed, or undeliverable packages.
- Incorrect or inaccurate processing of entries
- Damage or injury to a person(s) or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in part or in whole, from an entrant’s participation in Deals or receipt or use of any prize.
Skatter Tech’s liability is limited to the cost of operating Deals, and shall never be liable for attorney’s fees. An entrant waives the right to claim damages including, but not limited to punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect.
Publicity
An entrant’s participation in Deals implies their consent to Skatter Tech’s use of their name, picture, voice, and state of residence for advertising or promotional purposes without further payment or consent.
