NewsWeek just published an article via MSNBC with a list of America’s 1,000 Top High Schools. This list consists of only public schools, which are ranked by the # of AP Exams taken and divided by the # of graduating seniors. Some of the Top Schools in the Bay Area (California) were: Monta Vista, Cupertino; Gunn, Palo Alto; Lynbrook, San Jose; Mission, San Jose; Saratoga High, Saratoga; and San Jose High Academy, San Jose. (The schools above have been placed in order.)
